JPA on winning team for first school replacement in BCPSS SChool Construction Program

After the passage of a bill allotting $1.4 billion to the Baltimore City Public School System, JPA was asked to join multiple architect-led design teams in submitting qualifications for renovations and replacement schools. Partnering with global firm Setty & Associates on several teams to provide greater depth of MEP experience and resources, we were successful in partnering with several of the shortlisted firms placed on the qualified list. We were further fortunate to be on Grimm + Parker’s winning team for the Ft. Worthington Elementary School replacement project, one of the first two schools awarded under the contract. Design is underway and JPA is again on multiple teams pursuing the next round of schools in the program. We look forward to the many opportunities for design services that the school revitalization program in Baltimore City is making available to the A/E/C community.
