Math & Science (STEM) Building

Cecil College is an open admission institution that provides career, transfer, and continuing education coursework and programs for a diverse student population that ranges from recent high school graduates to senior citizens. This new LEED Gold certified, 24,500-SF building supports the college’s rapidly growing enrollment in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The $18M facility also responds to the advanced technology nature of BRAC-related functions that have been transferred to nearby Aberdeen Proving Ground. The building program included four engineering and physics labs (24 student stations); an engineering fabrication lab (6 student stations); math labs (30 student stations); a math tutoring and testing center (100 students); three group study areas (8 student and tutors each); and a 50-person café.
