JPA provided full-service MEP/FP and construction administration services for this new building, including HVAC systems, site lighting, electrical distribution, a propane fuel system, a water tank and fire pump, and technology infrastructure, along with LEED and sustainable design and energy modeling. The new 49,200-SF building includes general classrooms; computer, health, and science laboratories; practicum areas; offices; and common areas.
The centerpiece of this facility is the medical simulation suite. Designed to resemble a hospital setting, this facility provides real-world, hands-on medical education simulation. Other state-of-the-art educational areas feature medical lab technology, emergency services, retail and hospital pharmacy simulation, occupational and physical therapy, a computer lab, and classrooms, along with lecture rooms, a student advising center, small study rooms, and administrative areas.
