MICA Creative Learning Commons
Maryland Institute College of Art: Baltimore, MD
The Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) purchased the historic property at 81 Mosher Street with plans for a full renovation to create a Creative Learning Commons. Constructed in 1900, the original 50,000-SF, five-story building underwent a $10M adaptive re-use to create new academic, studio, and administrative spaces. JPA provided design and construction phase services for new MEP/FP infrastructure that was installed throughout the facility in a phased approach, while maintaining building operations.
