Student Services Center

Montgomery College’s new Student Services Center anchors the Rockville campus pedestrian mall and provides classrooms, laboratories, offices, testing areas, study spaces, food service and café areas, and lounges. JPA provided MEP design for this $46.7M, 125,000-SF facility, including a chilled water plant to support the building and a new central heating plant for the entire campus. Phasing allowed the new heating plant to be brought online before the existing one was removed from operation. The project achieved LEED Silver certification.
