Retriever Athletic Center (RAC) Renewal

JPA provided MEP engineering for this $18.4M project, including $10M in infrastructure replacement and upgrades and selective building reprogramming, for UMBC’s 137,000SF Retriever Athletic Center (RAC). Spaces include an arena, gymnasium addition, natatorium, Sondheim Hall, administration spaces, utility and storage spaces. JPA provided design and CA for air handling units; high temperature hot water heat exchangers; heating/chilled water piping; building automation system; electrical service, switchgear, panels, and associated distribution; lighting; fire alarm systems; and fire suppression system modifications.
