Greenebaum Building (Middle School)
McDonogh School : Owings Mills, MD
JPA provided MEP/FP design and construction services for this new 67,000-SF, $25M middle school building and a $2M campus central chilled water plant upgrade. It replaced another building on the same site and includes a mixture of humanity and music classrooms, science STEM labs, offices, a media center, and a dance studio. A centralized AHU system conditions and ventilates the building and is connected to central chilled water and heating water infrastructure. The chilled water plant upgrade provided an additional 500-tons of cooling capacity and included extending piping utilities to the adjacent Lyle Building for future renovation.
