Loiederman Middle School Performing Arts Center (PAC)

Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) : Silver Spring, MD

JPA provided MEP/FP engineering design for the recently completed $10M Performing Arts Center (PAC) at the A. Mario Loiederman Middle School for Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS). This 16,446-GSF addition to the school’s existing 131,746-SF footprint resulted in a state-of-the-art cultural arts center featuring a prominent lobby area, main performance space with theatrical LED lighting and sound systems, box office/concessions, dressing rooms, set construction, and a separate multi-purpose performance classroom.  The main performance space has retractable seating and can be separated (via movable motorized partition walls) into three smaller multi-purpose performance and rehearsal spaces.
