Brady Urological Institute Laboratories
Johns Hopkins Healthcare: Baltimore, MD
The second floor of the Park Building on the world-renowned hospital’s main campus, which houses the Brady Urological Institute, was completely renovated for new laboratories and offices. The modernized 13,000-SF research area provides 15 large modular spaces containing both bench workspace with full laboratory utilities and computer workstations, and a tissue culture room. Both private and open space modular offices were created, as well as staff restrooms, a kitchenette with snack area, and staff lockers. The design integrated underfloor electrical and information technology raceways and cabling to serve a modular systems furniture installation. Wiring and cabling systems were also designed to support IT and audiovisual installations.
