West Village Commons
Towson University: Towson, MD
JPA provided MEP engineering design for this new $34M, 86,000-SF mixed-use facility, strategically located at the center of the four residential buildings that comprise the West Village core. Program spaces include a 400-seat resident dining facility; four retail dining venues; a convenience store with a 24-hour entrance; a two-story atrium; casual gathering spaces with offices for student and residence life, student services, and events; and a full-service institutional kitchen with a large convention-style meeting room accommodating 1,000 persons. The project is LEED Gold certified and was the first LEED certified building on campus.
