The Commons at Stanton Square & Community of Hope
Martha's Table: Washington, DC
This LEED Gold certified project, the Commons, is a campus for community programs in the District’s Ward 8 made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Horning Family Fund, Horning Brothers, Community of Hope, and Martha’s Table. The Horning Brothers Foundation transformed this undeveloped project site to house the $20M relocated Martha’s Table and Community of Hope organizations. The new structure is 55,000-SF on three floors with office, classroom, and meeting spaces; a commercial kitchen and prep area; and associated support functions. Site amenities include a drop-off loop and surface parking, outdoor play areas, yards, and gardens. JPA provided MEP/FP design and telecom support for this project.
